Country Brekky

Saturdays 6 – 9am, with Wally Sparrow

The best in both Australian and American Country Music

Country Brekky has become the state’s source of information in relation to the wonderful world of country music. Wally Sparrow’s lifetime of experience in the industry as an artists and a journalist allows him access to all of the latest music and ‘hands on interviews’ with all the top acts.

Country Brekky presents three hours of the latest in Australian and American country music both modern and traditional. There is a hint of comedy and a splattering of old favourites. Wally places a strong emphasis on promoting local talent. Every Saturday at 7.40am, gig guide guru Ian Fisk, brings the public up to date on what is happening in our state over the coming week.

Country Brekky is also a valuable source of information on industry gossip and Wally will attempt to play requests, given a week’s notice.

    • Hi Jan, great to have a listener in Belgium. Maybe you are the first?
It’s easy to find the link to our online broadcast – just go the http://www.radio.adelaide.edu.au and click on the logo at the top right.
this takes you to the page with infomation about our online stream

On the http://www.radioadelaidemusic.com page, you can also get to the same place by clicking on the green button that says ‘listen’, just under the logo

I’m sure Wally will be keen to know there is a Belgian connection. What other programs do you listen to?

      Best Regards
      Deb Welch

  2. Hi there Wally,
Thanks for your early morning country show & the cool tracks you play. I heard you play a song about a diggers dog. I’d like to know the name & artist & a link if possible. The song was a sad one about a letter left with a dog that no one wanted or could keep but it was his dog. Made me all steamy… something caught in my eye. But I want to get copy cheers. Have a great show & weekend Wally cyu one day from Dan
