The Blues World is a tapestry, magnificent and whole. But a tapestry is merely an amalgam of the individual threads contained therein. Saturday Blues is a weekly exploration of those threads. From the genre’s earliest days in the Deep Southern states of America, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas, to the global phenomena it has become today.
Australia’s foremost experts in the Blues world, bring their own passions to the program, sharing a lifetime of knowledge with discerning commentary. They aim to encourage interaction from a loyal dedicated audience, presenting a musical form which was born as oral history, and now has evolved to influence all popular music genres in the world today.
